Nowadays we perform many types of account hacking by using Kaali Linux. Brute Force is one of the best and easy way. We can hack Social Network site accounts, Gmail, Yahoo by using Brute Force. But for the Brute Force Attack we need a password list. Today I am going to show you how to generate a password list for Brute Force Attack in Kaali Linux.

So let’s start. Just follow my instructions.

1. First of all start your Kaali Linux OS and open ‘crunch’ software
2. The command structure of crunch is crunch <min> <max> [Options]. Let me explain the command for you. The crunch is the plug in name for generating password list. <min> is the number  of  minimum character for the password list you are going to generate. <max> is the number of  maximum character for the password list you are going to generate. [Options] is the suggestion of the keywords of  the password list. Suppose you may guess that which alphabets /number/character are used in the password. But you don’t know the orders of it. So type the guessed alphabets /number/character in here. So that you will get the password list in every order/arrangement of your guessed alphabets /number/character. I have used crunch 4 8 abcdef for the password list. Use the command and hit enter.
3. You will find that the password generating is started
4. We need a .txt extension file for the Brute Force Attack.  Now use command crunch 4 8 abcdef –o root/Desktop/passlist.txt . The –o root/Desktop/passlist.txt is for the directory and name of your password list. Use the command and hit enter. You will find that your password list of .txt extension is created on your preferred directory.
5. Here is your password list.

N.B: If you do no enter the guessed word the ‘crunch’ will generate password list in every alphabets /number/character in your preferred minimum and maximum number.

That’s all for today. Hope this trick will help you.
