How to change passwords by CMD [Command Prompt]

Today I’m going to show you ‘How to change the password of your Windows PC without knowing the previous password by Command Prompt.

It is common to forget our password of P.C. When we forget the password we are unable to login into our user account. So now I’m going to show you how to change the password without knowing the previous by the CMD.

This trick will help you in 2 ways:

1.      1. If you forget your password and  your P.C. is open. You can change it. You can also try to make fun with your friends. If your friends PC is opened, you can change the password without knowing his password. [This is only for educational purpose. Don’t misuse it]

2.      2. If you can’t open your pc for the reason of forgetting password, you can just start the pc in Safe Mode With Command Prompt and change the password.

So let’s start the tutorial. If any problems with the text please follow the screenshots:

1.Firs run Command Prompt into Administrator mode

2. 1.      On the command prompt type: net user. After that list of your user account will appear. On my pc my user name is User.

3. Then type: net user user [The second word user is my user account name . You should use your user account name. Example: net user john, net user sadik.] You will find all the information about your account.

4.   After that type: net user user *[* is a character which you will find in the number pad] and hit enter. After that you will find a statement which is Type a password for the user. Type your new password here. But be careful. You should make no mistake. [N.B. The password which you have typed may be invisible. Don’t take worry about that.] Just freely type your password. After that hit enter and you will find the statement Confirm your password. So again type the new password which you have just typed. When it is confirmed hit ok.

*** If you are unable to open your PC for forgetting your password just  Open your PC into Safe Mode With Command Prompt and start it from administrator account and follow the  same thing as before and your work is done.
